Really happy with clay it builds quickly and holds its form. Currently bisque to cone 04 then glaze with 06- 04 glazes. This means both can be fired at once.

This moderately grogged body is great for both beginners and professionals. Grog addition is 25% with particles up to 0.5%.
Good throwing large pieces. Good for Sculpting, slabbing and hand-building.
Useful firing range 1180C to 1280C. Some potters fire to cone 10/11 with success. Colours range from cream to pale grey.

Total Shrinkage at 1160C is 10.3%. At 1280C it is 11%
Water absorption at 1160C is 7%. At 1280 it is 1%

Mine was very wet when received I do a lot of slab work Love the white clay I would roll out and let slab dry before putting pieces together

A great clay for hand building.
Nice clay to work with as it has a nice feel and is soft on old aching hands. Havent yet fired anything made with it still creating.
We used this clay in a beginners class and it was very easy to mold coil and make pinch pots. The class was also show how to wedge as well and prepare the clay for using. It is still drying waiting to be bisque.
Havenāt made the coffee cups for the festival yet but have tested my cone 8 glaze on the clay and it works well
