Application:
A stoneware body designed for the highest requirements, offering excellent plasticity, modelling, throwing, and standing properties. It also serves as an excellent glaze base.

1000°C - 1260°C

It's great...holds together so well
I bought it because it has a similar colour to unfired clay when fired, and I was aiming for something that looked like pieces do before they are dried and fired. firing. When using white over it, the white glaze I use looks less toothpasty, which I like. Also I can put coloured slips over it, as in the photo without needing a white slip, So I like it for that situation. However, I was disappointed with my choice to use it when I put clear over it without the contrast of the white, the exposed clay was too dull.
Used it to make this piece and other large pieces and found it stands well and easy to use for sculpture
Is perfect for slab work.
As a hand builder I like a clay that has a bit of grog in it, but not too much, and this clay works well for me.

Great hand building clay with just the right amount of grog to add strength without compromising a smooth surface finish.
This is a box I made for a workshop I ran last weekend at the heretaunga womens centre in hastings using the clay I purchased from decopot.
Great clay for painting underglaze on. I think it was the one with grog in it too so really good firm clay to coil & model with. Gorgeous finish for glazes (the pot has a very deep azure blue (home made). All round winner. Many thanks đ¤â¨

Easy to use
This class was perfect for kids first attempt at pottery. The delivery was quick and I felt a very reasonable price for a 20 kg parcel. Will be ordering more if I can persaude the school to do a pottery project. Please give us some discount then. good for throwing and hand building
So far I really love working with it. The grog makes all the difference, giving the clay more structure and enabling less sagging when modelling. Love the colour too!
