Visual Character
A fine, smooth stoneware clay body firing to a light cream-grey tone. Excellent plasticity and easy to throw or hand-build with.
Key Features
- High-plasticity, low-shrinkage fine stoneware body
- Very smooth surface — no grog
- Refer to colour swatch for variation across mid-fire range
- Suitable for wheel throwing and hand-forming
- Functionally vitreous at 1200 °C / Cone 6
How to Use
- Firing range: 1100–1220 °C
- Best results: Cone 6 ≈ 1200 °C oxidation (cream-grey finish)
- Bisque: ~900–1000 °C
