Using Decopot Bisque

Our bisque is made from a porcelain clay, designed to vitrify at cone 6.

Decopot bisque is an ideal foundation for decoration with Claybright Underglaze and Abbots Brushable Glaze.

For Claybright decoration, allow the painted piece to dry thoroughly and then glaze with Abbots Clear. For mugs, use the preferred Abbots Clear for Decopot Mugs Fire this to approx. 1180C.

For Abbots Brushable Glaze, build your glaze layers as desired and fire to Cone 6 (approx. 1220C).
