Abbots Tenmoku is a Cone 6 midfire brushable glaze with a deep brown-black glaze with rich gloss, ancient depth, and a soft smoky haze where it gathers thickly. Inspired by classic Japanese tenmoku surfaces, it is dramatic on light clay bodies and equally strong as a foundation for layered glaze work.
