Rockpool is a gorgeous glaze! Beautiful colour and very stable on it's own.
I love the depth of colour with Rockpool.
Looking great on this little bud vase from the ever reliable Toast Stoneware.
Lovely results with three brushed on layers. Also an interesting glaze on its own.
Used Brushable Rockpool Witgert Extra Schwartz. Fired at Cone 6. I used one coat over all, 2 coats on top half 3 coats on the top 1/3. I also put a rim of cobalt blue on the rim but that didn't really show. Result is a beautiful rich green with shades of brown showing through on the single coated area (from the clay). More blue/green tones with more coats. Love it.
